Poetry Workshops
Anne-Marie has taught facilitatory & critical workshops for many years, founded Wordworks at Richmond-upon-Thames College (1993) and founded (& taught for many years) the creative-writing strand of the John Hewitt International Summer School.
Over the years she has developed a portfolio of unique ‘themed workshops’, mostly premiered at the Troubadour and offered to writers’ groups & venues/festivals everywhere. Each of these frequently-oversubscribed ‘themed-workshop’ days allows writers & would-be writers to explore their own experiences of, & imaginative responses to, a chosen theme, through a range of resources & techniques, through examples from literature & the wider culture, through visual imagery & through led exercises, resulting in finished work in each session, & in constructive mutual criticism.
